A musical about the life and music of Beatle John Lennon. The show sold out its entire run less than 24 hours after tickets went on sale. The lead was played brilliantly by Mark McGann . the natural progression after such box office success was of course to move the show to the West End . Mark had decided he did not want to become type cast in the role and declined and producer Bill Kenwright cleverly realized that no one else could play the part as well as Mark and so that was the end of this short lived musical.
