Early 2013 Human Nature moved their successful show from The Quad to The Venetian and they asked me to design their set. Although a fantastic show the production at The Quad was minimal so it was great fun to give this ex Australian boy band a lavish set that they so deserved.
I also enjoyed taking the relatively small stage at the Sands showroom and using every trick in the book to make it ' appear ' larger than it really is including forced perspective, removing architectural elements from the room that had previously made it feel very low and stretching the scenery way out of the proscenium onto the side walls of the auditorium
